Holding space for mothers to reconnect—with themselves, each other, and the earth.

My Story

I created Bosque Refugio during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. My mother and grandmother were both in the hospital, and I wasn’t allowed to be there with them. I felt helpless, heartbroken, and unsure of where to put all that emotion. After months of carrying that weight, I realized I needed to channel it into something meaningful. That was the moment I decided to create a space to support mothers—because I knew I couldn’t be the only one who felt this way.

I became a mother at a young age, and my journey into motherhood was not easy. It was filled with challenges that pushed me into deep self-reflection and personal growth. I had to learn how to rebuild myself, to understand patterns I had never questioned before, and to find a way forward—again and again. Through that process, I realized how much mothers need a space to grow, to be supported, and to not feel alone. I needed that space, and I couldn’t find it—so I created it.

Bosque Refugio is that space. It’s a place where mothers and their children can come together to connect, heal, and grow in community. I’ve opened my own home to create something that feels real, personal, and welcoming—because I believe community should feel like belonging, not something you have to earn or pay your way into.

My work brings together connection to nature, personal development, and community care. I’m passionate about helping mothers explore generational patterns, build healthier habits, and reconnect with themselves, while also giving children the opportunity to reconnect with the natural world. I believe so much of what we are missing—both as mothers and as families—is rooted in that disconnection.

At the heart of everything I do are the values of connection, healing, nature, and community. I believe mothers need spaces where they can show up as they are, learn, grow, and be supported without judgment. I believe children need to experience the earth not as something separate from them, but as something they belong to.

My vision is to grow Bosque Refugio into a model that can reach beyond my home—into other communities, other cities, and eventually other parts of the world—so that more mothers have access to this kind of support and connection.

When people come into this space, I want them to feel seen, energized, and reminded that they’re not alone—and that they have something meaningful to offer.

Because when we support mothers, we shape the future.
