Healing Doesn’t Happen Alone

For a long time, I believed healing was something I had to do on my own. That if I just worked hard enough on myself, read enough, reflected enough—I could figure it all out. And while personal growth is important, I’ve learned something deeper along the way:

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.

It happens in connection.

It happens when we’re seen, when we’re heard, when we’re surrounded by people who remind us that we’re not alone in what we’re feeling or going through.

So much of what we carry as mothers—patterns, pain, expectations—can feel heavy because we’re carrying it alone.

But when we come together, something shifts.

At Bosque Refugio, I’ve seen what happens when mothers gather in a space where they feel safe. There’s a softening. There’s laughter. There’s honesty. There’s growth.

And most importantly, there’s connection.
